About me
I am Dr. Alessandro Thione, a plastic surgeon with a specialized focus on microsurgery, reconstructive surgery, and hand surgery. My academic background includes studies in Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Insubria, Italy, where I became a Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon.
Subsequently, I expanded my experience by working as a surgical researcher at the University of Insubria and served as Director of Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine at Ars Medica Center, Pavia, Italy. During the period of 2008-2009, I obtained membership in the Swiss Medical Federation (FMH) as a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery in Switzerland.
Between July 2009 and July 2018, I was a member of Dr. Pedro Cavadas’ surgical team at the Cavadas Clinic, Valencia, Spain. Since August 2018, I have had the honor of being a Plastic Surgeon in the Plastic and Burns Surgery Unit at the University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe in Valencia, Spain.

Members must be certified by an entity recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties or similar internationally. Additionally, they must have proven training in reconstructive and/or micro-neurovascular surgery.Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.
It is a scientific society that brings together specialists in Plastic Surgery who have earned the right to be part of it due to their merits in terms of education, knowledge, experience, and ethics.
